Barney Rubble is Fred Flintstone's next door neighbor and best friend he is happily married to Betty Rubble and they have a son named Bam-Bam they also have a pet Hoparoo named Hoppy, Barney along with Fred are the mascot for Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles in the commercials for these cereals Barney is constantly trying to steal the cereal from Fred. He is 45 years old.
